PARC services will also contribute to reducing the burden of care experienced by carers in supporting consumers at home who are acutely unwell and receiving intensive community treatment.
This is an exciting initiative and a rare opportunity for clinicians to work in a service at its inception.

We have a total of 3 positions ( stated above ) and are looking at employing staff from a multidisciplinary back ground.

Clinical services will be provided over a seven day period and therefore weekend work will need to be undertaken. The hours of work for clinicians will be 8.30am – 5pm.

PARC services will also contribute to reducing the burden of care experienced by carers in supporting consumers at home who are acutely unwell and receiving intensive community treatment.

We are looking for the right person to take up the team leader role in the Waverley Continuing Care Team. You will work closely with the other clinicians on the team, and assist in the co-ordination of well-orchestrated community-based care. You will take a leadership role in supporting staff and also some direct care clinical service provision. You will help contribute to the implementation and development of the new Model of Care. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the Eastern Health Adult Mental Health Service Continuing Care leadership

TRANSCRIPTION SUPPORT CLERK

16 hours per week
(Permanent Part-time)

An exciting opportunity exists for a Transcription Support Clerk to join the EH Medical Transcription Service. This newly created position primarily involves the printing and correction of transcribed outpatient letters from a variety of specialties, filing of outpatient correspondence and other general clerical duties associated with providing a timely Transcription Service. The position is based at Maroondah Hospital and may involve travel across EH sites.

The successful applicant will be required to work Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. The number of hours per day can be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants must possess excellent typing skills, knowledge of medical terminology, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Previous experience with Microsoft Word and Winscribe Digital Dictation System is an advantage.

Previous experience in Health Information Services would also be highly desirable.
