(Permanent Full Time, including ADO)
If broadening your HIM skills in staff management, data reporting and clinical coding and casemix interests you then consider joining the EH HIS team at the Box Hill Campus. You would be joining EH at a time of impending change with the implementation of Healthsmart clinicals and a Global Patient Index and the planning of a PAS replacement and rollout of scanning.
This fulltime position has a range of responsibilities including:
- Clinical coding using Codefinder software
- Participating in the clinical coding audit program
- Liaison with clinicians regarding coding, documentation, education and casemix
- Management of a team of staff
- Attendance at internal management meetings
- Involvement with the Healthsmart clinicals implementation
- Support person for PRS/2, privacy, electronic discharge summaries and mental health.
