DIRECTOR OF SLEEP SERVICES

Box Hill Hospital is the primary referral centre within Eastern Health. We are seeking a senior, experienced, highly skilled clinical nurse to work in the multidisplinary stroke mamangement team as a Stroke Nurse/ Stroke Nurse Practitioner Candidate. This is a unique opportunity to participate in and broadly influence health service delivery for both inpatients and emergency department patients, initially at BHH with a view to extending the service throughout the Eastern Health network.
The existing Stroke Nurse model of care at BHH provides a foundation to extend the scope of current advanced practice for a candidate to progress to the role of Stroke Nurse Practitioner. This position is an integral part of the health care team and works autonomously and in collaboration with other health professionals to assess and manage patients within an evidence based model of care.

A unique opportunity exists for a Division 1 Registered Nurse to join the Transfusion Team at Eastern Health. This is a part time role where the successful applicant will work closely with the current Transfusion Clinical Nurse Consultant and other members of the Transfusion team.
A Postgraduate Certificate in Transfusion Practice or commitment to undertake the next course is essential.
The successful applicant will work with medical, nursing and pathology staff across EH to promote safe and appropriate use of blood and blood products in accordance with national guidelines.
This position focuses on education, policy review, adverse event management, auditing, liaising with clinical staff and developing and promoting transfusion resources.
